Vector Portrait

This piece is a vector portrait I created for my advanced drawing/portfolio class during my final semester at CU. It’s the second in a three-part fairy-tale series I worked on.

For this piece, I wanted to continue with the fairy-tale theme and create a “family portrait” of my significant other and me. I wore a white two-piece set to symbolize innocence, reflecting my childlike spirit that still exists within me. It’s a reminder of that purity and simplicity, something I feel is important to hold on to as I grow older. I dressed my significant other in a navy-blue shirt, symbolizing the confidence and stability he brings to our relationship. I also gave him elf ears to add a touch of fantasy while keeping my own fairy-tale persona.

The background features soft green tones with leaves instead of flowers, symbolizing growth—both our personal growth and the growth we've experienced together.
