This piece was for a rendering class I took in college a couple years back. The goal of this project was to draw a still life that portrayed a variety of different objects of our choosing. I chose to depict my childhood with toys and knickknacks. Being that this piece was a still life, too, alludes to how our childhood is merely a distant memory that lies still in time...where all we can do is look back and reminisce.
